LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com) — FX is on to shake the cable TV with its new original series, “Terriers” that premiered its first episode on Wednesday night at 10pm. Produced by the famous writer of ‘Ocean’s Eleven’, Ted Griffin and the creator of ‘Shield’, Shawn Ryan this series is a fun ride adapted on the golden age of 70s’ buddy private investigators and they are united to start up a unlicensed detective agency.

The two friends in the comic drama are portrayed by Donal Logue (The Knights of Prosperity) and Michael Raymond-James (True Blood). These two friends, Hank and Britt have totally flopped their careers. Hank was a cop and Britt was a thief. They have come together to do a detective business out of a van and their business were not going good. The long arc story begins when an old friend asks Hank to find his daughter. This big assignment leads the two detectives to interact with a rich developer with various dark hidden secrets and conspiracies.

The first episode of Terriers was quite appealing and I think this series is going to have a strong ground. One of the fact in this show that attracted me is the element of realism associated with the series. The beginning of the show was well-conceived, well-made and well-played. The big fans of Donal Logue’s will definitely agree that over the past 5 years we have never seen something that has fully leveraged his talent as much as in the ‘Terriers’. There is a lot more than this.
