Jeremy Renner will act in Mission Impossible 4

August 28, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Latest reports suggest that ‘The Hurt Locker’ star Jeremy Renner has been roped in to act in the next Mission Impossible movie. According to Paramount Pictures, the new iteration of ‘Mission Impossible’ will have Tom Cruise and Jeremy Renner playing major roles. The spy movie franchisee has been a massive worldwide hit and Paramount wants to repeat the success story.

In July, Tom Cruise posted on Twitter that he will be back as the charismatic superspy Ethan Hunt for ‘Mission Impossible 4’. On Thursday, Paramount Pictures confirmed that Jeremy Renner has signed the deal and will start working on the ‘Mission Impossible 4’soon.

The production for the new movie is slated to begin by fall this year. As usual, the action flick will be produced by JJ Abrams. Brad Bird has been roped in to direct the movie. Paramount Pictures expects to release the movie by December 2011. However the studio did not reveal any information about Jeremy Renner’s role in the ‘Mission Impossible 4’. Renner got an Oscar Nomination for his high octane role as the Bomb Disposal Squad member, in ‘The Hurt Locker’.

Renner will be seen in the Crime Drama ‘The Town’ where he will act opposite Ben Affleck and John Hamm.
