LONDON - Hollywood actress Katie Holmes has teamed up with director Adam Shankman and reality TV producer Nigel Lythgoe to launch a dance scholarship fund.
Holmes, who is set to appear on Lythgoe’s US show So You Think You Can Dance July 23, has joined forces with the pair and Dancing With the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba to set up the Dizzy Feet Foundation, reported femalefirst.co.uk
The scholarship organization will give underprivileged youngsters the opportunity to take part in dance programs and win grants to enrol in accredited dance studios.
“I think its important for children to experience music and dance. Every child should have the opportunity to discover what it is they like and have access to the very best in that pursuit, said the actress.
