Balika Vadhu’s Pratyusha Banerjee Could Have Been A Singer

September 24, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Pratyusha Banerjee the lead of ‘Balika Vadhu’ who plays the character of Anandi is super talented actress. This 19 year old actress who plays the role of Anandi in ‘Balika Vadhu’ would have been singer if not actor.

Pratyusha says, “I would have been a singer if not actor. Acting just happen to me and I grabbed the opportunity. I am a trained singer for last 4 and half years.”

The actress is also a Kathak trained dancer. And she says that she can even sing Rajasthani song even though she is Bengali. Pratyusha was born and brought up in Jamshedpur.

She has also done plays before and acting is a new experience for her. She says, “I did enacted in a play of Kalidas- Aashadka Ekte and I was only seventeen then.”

Pratyusha is extremely talented with out a doubt. She is been much appreciated in ‘Balika Vadhu’ for her character as Anandi. And now since she is so talented we hope that very soon she explores her talent in any reality shows as well. Wishing her loads of luck.
