Gurmeet Resumes Shooting

August 16, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Gurmeet Chaudhary, also known by his character Maan of Star One’s ‘Geet’, was down with Malaria. The doctor advised him to take total bed rest. However, working under any circumstances is one of the mean truths of a daily soap life and thus even after being contaminated with Malaria, Gurmeet has taken the decision to complete the shoot anyhow.

His wife Debina is naturally worried. Gurmeet has resumed shooting regardless of the doctor’s advice.

Initially, it was thought that the shooting would be done from inside of their house, so that he can work as well as take rest. However, arranging for the shoot inside the house turned out to be a tough affair.

It made the house way messier than they could ever imagine. It became extremely cumbersome for the couple and the whole deal became quite unmanageable. Gurmeet thus decided to bunk this plan and go right ahead with the shoot.

Debina meanwhile leaves for Chennai for her own shoot and is justifiably worried.

She’s worried since she wouldn’t be there to remind him to take the medicines on time. She wants him to spring back to fitness as soon as possible. Both the production as well as the channel is sending many ‘get well soon’ wishes, however they aren’t giving him the most important thing, rest. Debina and Gurmeet both value their profession and since its work, they have to carry on; as they say the show must go on.
