Why Once Upon A Time Fame Actor Rejects DJs Next Venture?

August 14, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): After Sony TV’s ‘Baat Hamari Pakki Hai’, DJ’s is once again launching its next venture on Star Plus at a primetime slot, which is tentatively named as ‘Bhramha’. But nothing has been finalized yet with its cast.

A source says, “The show is about 3 generations and will have 4 couple leads in it. Casting is still on for the show as the production wants authentic faces to essay the roles. Till now names like Arun Bali, Karan Hukku, Kamya Punjabi, Rakesh Bapat are finalized for the roles”.

But a buzz has come to us that Once Upon A Time In Mumbai fame, Mehul Bhojak, who was also finalized for the negative role, has rejected the offer. And if sources are to be believed than he has rejected the offer because he was paired against Kamya Punjabi, who he thinks is not a perfect match for him. Kamya looks quite older than him and essaying opposite to her was a bitter task for Mehul. He was all fine with the given character even though it had grey shade. But the pairing was something that made Mehul a little uncomfortable. This made him decide to leave the show.

We contacted Mehul and he says, “Yes, somewhere I was not comfortable with the one opposite to me and the show somewhere had many exits and entries which was very confusing to me. Thus I rejected the show. But I am open to take up some other good shows”.
