Sharad Kelkar Defeats The Girls, Wins Kitchen Champion 2 Title

August 11, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Popular television actor Sharad Kelkar of ‘Baira Piya’ fame has proved his culinary skills by winning the second season of ‘Kitchen Champion’ in Colors. The second season was a contest between the boys and the girls.
There is a report of the actor defeating the girls in their culinary skills and thus bagging the title for himself. In the first season, only ‘bahus’ and ‘saas’ of the serials, participated and Meghna Malik of ‘Na Aana Ess Des Meri Lado’ fame, won the title.
According to a source, “The finale of the competition took place in presence of the actors Aditya Redij, Supriya Kumari, Gaurav Khanna, Rupali Ganguly, and Ashutosh Kaushik.
The episode was shot last week. Romit Raj also participated at the show as a wild card entrant. The boys were performing well and were very confident to win the title. Sharad, who is known to be a very good cook, had prepared nice recipes earlier also. So, it was not very hard for him to impress the chef in the finale. The girls could not do prepare the recipe properly and failed to impress the judge.
The finale episode of the second season is likely to be aired this weekend.
