Debina In Search Of Hyderabadi Damaad

June 2, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Television actress Debina Boneerjee, famously known as Sita of NDTV Imagine’s ‘Ramayana’, will soon sizzle in Bollywood as she plays a very popular tennis player, Sania Mirza in a movie titled Hyderabadi Damaad.
Speaking about the movie, Debina says, “In the movie Hyderabadi Damaad, we won’t ape Sania Mirza but our story has been inspired by her life and not her professional side of existence.”
Dedina adds, “Along with me, Television actors like Amar Upadhyay and Ali Merchant will also be seen in the movie. The film is directed by Jay Prakash and we will start its shoot from next month. I have just signed the movie and yet to experience the shooting.”
Even though Sania Mirza has raised many issues regarding this movie, Debina seemed very calm while conversing with TellyCafe and further says, “The shoot of the movie is on a very primary stage now and our journey so far is quite good.”
So, will you start working out to imitate Sania? “No, as I said that we won’t mimic her totally, it’s just based on her story line and not exactly Sania. But Yes, I will try to act and carry myself as every tennis player does.”
So, now after Sita of ‘Ramayana’, Ganga of ‘Mahima Shanidev Ki’, it’s Sania for Debina, right!
