LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The Backstreet Boys appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show on November 4 in the ‘Teen Idols’ special. The group not only discussed their plans for the upcoming concert with New Kids On The Block in May 2011 but also proved that they still have what it takes to woo fans. Interestingly, Kevin also attended the Oprah episode in spite of not being a part of the group in recent years. He said on the show that it took a call from Oprah to get him out of retirement.

The Backstreet Boys also performed their famous hit ‘I Want It That Way’ and Oprah Winfrey herself was seen singing along with the group. Earlier Oprah surprised a couple of super fans of the group on the ‘Teen Idol’ special episode. The teenagers were coming to Chicago for something else and when they landed they were greeted with the live performance of their idols, The Backstreet Boys.

TV and Radio host, producer and media personality Ryan Seacrest is reportedly one of the minds behind the New Kids On The Block and Backstreet Boys tour in May 2011. The two groups will appear together on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show on November 8 and discuss further details of the NKOTBSB tour. The two groups will also perform together at the American Music Awards on November 21. The group announced on the show that the fans can keep checking with the official Oprah Winfrey website for the tour dates of the upcoming tour. Though the dates have not been released yet, the official website contains interesting content on the band and also their latest interview.
