Terry McMillan Patches Up With Ex-Spouse

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Terry McMillan the famous author is back in news and it is not only because of the positive reviews her new novel named ‘Getting To Happy’ is getting these days. A few days back the noted author patched up with her long estranged husband Jonathan Plummer. The reunion took place at the Oprah Winfrey show and needless to say it was a surprise for her friends and fans. The lady split up with her spouse after a nasty legal battle which became the headlines. She had filed a lawsuit worth $40 million 5 years back against him. The split up came after the author heard from her then husband that he was gay. It was a shocker for her as she did not expect him to be so. The more shocking was the fact that the revelation came after six long years after they had got married.

When the author was asked why she could not realize that her spouse was queer she cited a number of reasons. She said tat she was in love with him and did not bother much about his mannerisms. Terry McMillan also added that she thought her husband was from a distinct culture and his lifestyle was different as a result. However, she had never thought that he was queer. However, she recalled that he was caring in a way which she used to like very much.

Terry McMillan also said that she resorted to that lawsuit which gave the media entities enough juice to spread stories because she wanted to teach her ex husband a lesson. She said that she was angry because he lied to her. The duo said after the apparent reunion that they do not hold any grudges to each other any longer.
