LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The much hyped Taylor Swift-Kanye West drama at the VMAs remained confined only to the gossip columns of newspapers and websites as the two stars were seen on their own at the 2010 VMAs. In what became the most talked about controversy before the awards, the country star and the rapper did not once cross each other’s paths during this years awards ceremony held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. With both the stars performing, however, there were some hints at a reconciliation between the two felt, heard and barely seen by the fans.

Taylor Swift who performed earlier in the evening introduced a song called ‘Innocent’ from her latest album ‘Speak Now’ which is due in October. The performance was followed by a montage of the incident last year when Kanye West snatched the mic from the country sensation and claimed that Beyonce Knowles deserved the award. Taylor Swift made it evident that she has moved on from the incident through the lyrics of the song and to the relief of the song hinted that she has forgiven the rapper for the mistake.

Among some of the lines in the lyrics of innocent, few which stood out were the ones in which Taylor Swift sang that 32 is still a growing up age. One line also said that what one did is not actually what one really is. The lyrics of the song have become a rage on the web after fans could equate them to Taylor Swift’s stance towards Kanye West. Kanye West gave a more aggressive and powerful performance where most of his anger seemed to be directed towards himself.
