Jamie Lee Curtis Starer “True Lies” On ABC?

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Jamie Lee Curtis starred in the movie “True Lies”. The movie buffs must be happy to hear the news that ABC will launch a brand new show based on the movie. A source close to ABC reported a reputed media source that the channel has closed a deal to air a television series based on the movie “True Lies” developed by James Cameron’s Light-storm Entertainment.
The media sources report that Rene Echevarria will be the show-runner and co-executive producer of the upcoming project. If everything falls into places then this would be the director’s first return to television series after “Dark Angel”. “True Lies” was a widely appreciated action comedy film and the powerhouse star cast of the movie included Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jamie Lee Curtis, Tom Arnold, Bill Paxton, Tia Carrere, Charlton Heston, and Art Malik. The movie is about a high profile spy who works for government in their top secret projects. The spy had to keep his spying job a secret from his family as well. Jamie Lee Curtis’s performance was loved and appreciated by her fans as she portrayed the role of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s wife.
A reputed media source reported that the television adaption of “True Lies” can be called as one of the “hottest” projects in development in this season. ABC is currently working on the popular flick “Charlie’s Angels” to make it a television series. The ABC officials are tight lipped about the project and declined to comment about it. However, the fans are waiting to see who plays the role of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis in the upcoming television series.
