Crystal Renn Upset Over Photos

LOS ANGELES(GaeaTimes.com)- Crystal Renn appeared on a talk show on July 22 and said that she is hugely disappointed by her recently released photographs of the Fashion For Passion photoshoot as the photos appear to have changed her entire body. The airbrushed pictures portray the plus sized model to be a size 2. She expressed her anger at being made to look much thinner than she actually is in reality.

The photoshoot was a part of the Fashion for Passion campaign and the photos were taken by Nicholas Routzen. Nicholas Routzen defended himself by admitting that he would have retouched the photos for any other model as well. He explained that his job was to make women look beautiful. Crystal Renn on the other hand, said in the talk show that she believes that beauty is not in the pant size. She is also considered an example for teenagers who suffer from anorexia and aim for size-zero. Crystal Renn said that she was in absolute shock after seeing the pictures and took some time to come out of it. She added that a bit of retouching is understandable but the pictures have completely changed her body. She felt that the pictures were not a part of her identity or the message that she wants to get across.

Crystal Renn started modeling at a very young age and was asked to reduce 5 stones before being fit for the industry. She shunned the size zero trend and emerged as a renowned plus sized model. After her popularity increased she has maintained her frame and continues to walk the runway for the best designers in the fashion industry.
