LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Last night “Dancing with the Stars” season 11 episode 3 was aired on ABC and the audience watched their favorite celebrities shake their legs in the ball room dance. The highest scorer of the night was Audrina Patridge and dance partner Tony Dovolani who shined in their performance and scored 26. Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Bristol Palin and comedian Margaret Cho each scored 20, 19 and 18 respectively.
Margaret Cho paid tribute to the gay community, however, she failed to impress the judges with her performance about “coming out”. The audience saw that half of the way she forgot her steps. One of the judges said that he was impressed by the start of her performance, however, as she lost her way in the middle, “it got heavy” in her legs. The other judge Bruno Tonioli said that he could understand that the comedian forgot her steps in the middle. In-spite of the criticisms, Margaret Cho was happy after her performance. The comedian reportedly told a reputed media source that she was “excited” to perform Barry Manilow’s Copacabana.
Margaret Cho reportedly said that her performance was the “gayest” thing she has ever done and she feels happy about it. Margaret Cho also added that there is a “serious” side to it as everyone wants to “celebrate pride” but the society should wake up and put an end to the gay suicides. She even commented that the gay community is in danger at this moment as lot of gay teens have committed suicide. The media outlets reported that Margaret Cho’s parents also appeared on the show to encourage their daughter. However, the audience will have to wait for tonight’s result to see the fate of “Dancing with the Stars” contestants.
