LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The much coveted MTV Video Music Award took place last night at Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, California to celebrate top music videos of the year. It was a star studded evening where the who’s who of music fraternity walked the stage with elan. One of the most talked about stars in the night was Lady Gaga who was had 13 nominations at the VMA awards 2010, the “Poker Face” singer also grabbed attention because of her unique outfit.

Lady Gaga reportedly won 8 awards in the VMA awards 2010 including two pre-show awards. The “Bad Romance” singer started the show with a bang by nabbing much coveted awards like Best Dance Video Trophy and then she followed it with Best Collaboration with Beyonce for the song “Telephone”. These awards were the first win of her 13 VMA nominations. The singer was excited while receiving the award and she thanked all her fans by calling them “little monsters”.

Lady Gaga also said while receiving her award that it is like a dream come true for her. Lady Gaga’s song “Bad Romance” had a tough competition this year in the VMA awards 2010 as the song was nominated with Beyonce’s “Video Phone”, Ketty Perry’s “California Girls”, Taylor Swift’s “Fifteen” etc. However, in the end the “Telephone” singer took away the award. Lady Gaga was nominated at the same category last year but “Mine” singer Taylor Swift took away the award. However, the “Fame” singer also thanked the director of her music video, Francis Lawrence, producers of the video, the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen and all the people who accompanied her to VMA 2010. Other than Lady Gaga, only Eminem won multiple awards in MTV Video Music Awards.
