LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- All the ardent followers of award-winning singer Carrie Underwood who have ever attended any of her concerts are well aware of the fact that the “When He Cheats” singer always makes sure that the crowd gathered at the musical event have a gala time. However, the country singer left her fans astonished when in a recent interview she revealed that she had been the victim of panic attacks which were triggered by crowded places in her past. Although it is hard to believe that the multiple Grammy-award winning musical artist who seems well at ease with the huge crowd which gathers to watch her perform at the concerts feared crowded places during her teenage years, Carrie Underwood has validated just that in an interview which was held recently.

The chart-topping singer has grabbed attention with the startling revelation that she suffered from severe panic attacks which were triggered by being surrounded with too many people during her early years in Checotah, Oklahoma. In the one-on-one with the magazine, Carrie Underwood went to divulge that Christmas shopping was one of her ‘worst nightmares’ while she is also very jittery about being in crowded elevators. At the same time, the recently-married singer also recalled her phobia of being in shopping malls with people touching her and kids running around which was supposedly enough to set off her panic attacks.

However, Carrie Underwood pointed out that now she realizes that being a public figure, people are an integral part of her lifestyle and so now she has learnt to cope with her fear by being comfortable in crowded places.
