When John tried to smuggle a knife

The buzz is that singer John Mayer was caught trying to smuggle a small knife onto a recent flight.
According to Star Magazine, on 19 October, the singer was caught with the blade as he passed through a security checkpoint at New York’s JFK Airport.
But reportedly the eagle-eyed guard didn’t confiscate the knife and instead he let Mayer hand it to his chauffeur, who returned it to the star’s home.
A source has told Star magazine: "John got busted carrying a pocket-knife through security. But when the officer realised who it was, he got so star struck that he let John go and gave him back the knife, so long as he didn’t take it on board."
Well, being a celeb has loads and loads of advantages.
