Kayne West interrupts MTV Video Music Awards

Sept 14 (IBNS) Kayne West made Beyonce go google-eyed when he jumped
on the stage unannounced to interrupt the MTV Video Music Awards.
West did it again when he barged onto the stage interrupting the
awards function to discuss the positives and negatives of the Best
female Video entries. The MTV Video Music Awards are known for their
whacky approach, but the tone was set too far when West arrived the
red carpet binging from his bottle of Hennessy.
The signals being loud and clear, the unexpected was waiting to happen
and it did not miss the script either. West stormed the stage when the
best Female Video award was being handed over to Taylor Swift, grabbed
her microphone and announced, “Beyonce had one of the greatest videos
of all time.”
A stunned Swift looked on and as the cameras zoomed on to Knowles they
found her wide-eyed and amazed. West has made a habit of getting on
the stage during awards shows and speaking his mind. He did the same
during the MTV Europe Music Awards when he missed the Best Video Award
in 2006.
And he notoriously went on to read his own during a live show and
said, “George Bush doesn’t care about black people” next to an stunned
and bewildered Mike Myers for NBC’s Hurricane Katrina aid show in
2005.
