NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com)- Just a day after CNN fired Rick Sanchez for his controversial comments against Jon Stewart on “Stand-Up with Pete Dominick” radio show, the Comedy Central host again mocked the anchor publicly, media reports have stated. Rick Sanchez called Jon Stewart a “bigot” which created a lot of controversy and ultimately he had to lose his job owing to such racist comments. However, initially Jon Stewart did not comment anything about the whole matter but a reputed media source reported that Jon Stewart left no stones unturned to mock Rick Sanchez on Comedy Central’s “Night Of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Concert For Autism Education”.
In the event of “Night Of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Concert For Autism Education” Jon Stewart brought in several references about Rick Stewart’s comments yesterday at the Beacon Theater in New York City. Jon Stewart said that if someone goes on air and says that “Jews control” the media industry, then one might want to hold on to his money. “The Daily Show” host also made fun of the former host of CNN by saying that all he needs to is “apologize” to the Jewish community and they would hire him back on the network. Rick Sanchez was fired owing to his controversial comments on the radio show, he said that the media channels are mostly run by Jewish communities and even CNN is run by Jewish people.
CNN issued a statement on Friday where it was stated that Rick Sanchez will not be a part of the company anymore. The officials did not give any reason as why he was fired. In the statement, it was also mentioned that the network officials wish him “well” for his future life.

I am so glad that CNN fired Rick Sanchez. I knew he would blow it at some point. I knew Rick Sanches in Fl. He was in an auto accident coming home for a Dolphin Football game and he was drunk. He walked away and the other man is still a vegetable in a nursing home. I wrote to CNN when Sanchez was first hired, telling them that he was not deserving of his position. Thank u. |
