LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com) — The famous miniseries, “You Don’t Know Jack” brings home the Emmy Award. To add to this the main character of the series Dr. Kevorkian, which is portrayed by Al Pacino is honored with the Emmy for the best lead role in the miniseries for his outstanding performance.

“You Don’t Know Jack” is surely the deserving series among the nominations in the Emmy Awards. The story of this series revolves around the main character called Dr. Kevorkian, who begins a struggle against the law to stop assisting the suicides of terminal illness patients. This law was once in effect in Michigan. Kevorkian is a lawyer and he wants the people with terminal illnesses to be able to decide which way they would want to end their journey.

Kevorkian assisted by his sister succeeds in finding a painless solution to end the life of a person. The solution is a combination of three chemicals which when injected into a patient will cause his or her death with simultaneously causing tranquilization. This method was protested by the court and the story gets a turning point when lawyer Kevorkian starts his battle to approve his method.
