Miss Phillippines Venus Raj: Beauty without Brains

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com) — Venus Raj has been the most discussed upon candidate of this year’s Miss Universe Pageant. After a hard tussle with fellow contestants she paved safe passage through top five.

But, destiny’s take couldn’t be undone. Her dream to flaunt the title of Miss Universe 2010 was shattered on the final day. Reasons, though are perhaps crystal clear. Still, we are thinking over and over from all aspects. May be her final answer ruined her chances of victory. Jimena Navarrete, was crowned Miss Universe 2010.

When asked by Wiliam Baldwin,

What is one big mistake that you have made in your life and what did you do to make it right?

All Venus had to say was,

“Thank you so much sir for that wonderful question. Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Good evening Las Vegas! You know what sir in my 22 years of existence I can say there is nothing major major, I mean problem that I have done in my life because I am very confident with my family with the love that they are giving to me. So thank you so much that I am here!”

Her answer sure wasn’t the “worst ever” but was dead sure amongst the top five of them. It sealed her fate and dropped her down to fourth place. Well, Venus, 22 years without mistakes would make you a machine for a start and about family ? C’mon dear the question was for you, and not your family. The judges were least interested to hear about your family values.

Venus Raj couldn’t even handle one of the most stereo-type questions of all time. It seems she is all void up there or may be stunning lights, camera and all the action freezed her brains. Whatever may be the reason, the bottom line is that its all over for Venus.
