NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com) –I don’t know why so many people are suddenly searching for the movie Sixth Sense over the net today. Even twitter is filled with discussion of this movie! Then again, last night was Friday the 13th! Who doesn’t like to fill a little chill of horror down his/her spine in this infamous day? So let me give a brief introduction of the ‘Sixth Sense’ movie and tell you why it is a must watch on days like Friday the 13th?

Sixth Sense is an American psychological horror film, written and directed by the famous M. Night Shyamlan.

It tells us the story of Cole Sear (played by Haley Joel Osment), a troubled boy who can see and talk with spirits of the dead people. An equally troubled child psychologist Dr. Malcolm Crowe (played by Bruce Wills) tries to help that poor boy out of his misery. But at the very end of the story, we get to see that the boy was the one who helped Dr. Malcom to fulfill his work. The twist at the end of the movie will surely leave you stunned!

The film established Shyamalan as a writer and director, and introduced the movie buffs to his signatures, most notably his affinity for twist endings. The film was nominated for six Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

So, why are you waiting? Try to grab a copy of this film from your nearest DVD shop and make sure you watch it alone. But, if you are afraid of seeing this movie all alone on the eve of Friday the 13th, then who knows, you might have friggatriskaidekaphobia!!! LOL!!
