Kristy Lee Cook’s New Hunting Show Premieres

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Former “American Idol” participant Kristy Lee Cook has made a comeback on reality television with a brand new show. Surprisingly, the new reality program featuring the country musical artist has nothing to do with music as all her fans might presume, rather it is a show that highlights the hunting skills of the singer. The series “Goin’ Country” which premiered on the cable network Versus this weekend focuses on Kristy Lee Cook as she travels across the various parts of the country and displays her hunting expertise by tracking down a deer, turkey as well as a pheasant as the show proceeds with every episode.
Apart from hunting different animals across the country, in the show that viewers would also see Kristy Lee Cook as she tries her level best to land a recording contract. While revealing details of the hunting reality series, the 26-year-old country singer adds that she never really liked killing animals earlier on until she herself got a taste of how hunting them actually feels. The former “American Idol” contestant further emphasized that hunting was part of the food chain as she adds, “Animals are here for us to eat.” It hardly comes as a surprise that the show has managed to attract the ire of various animal rights group which also includes PETA.
Meanwhile, the Versus network officials are already pitching the next episode of the hunting reality series featuring Kristy Lee Cook as a must watch. The official website of the network reads that the viewers can expect to get mesmerized, awed as well as amazed while watching the upcoming episode of the show on Sunday.
