LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The TV addicts have a lot to rejoice as the week saw the return of few of the best shows with their latest seasons. Apart from drama ‘Mad Men’ and reality series ‘Jersey Shore’ returning it was also the fashion reality series ‘Project Runway‘ that has got the people talking. The show has returned for its 8th season and host and creator Heidi Klum has revealed that there is a lot more to look forward to this season apart from the bitching, fighting and fashion brilliance.

The most noticeable change is the show timing that has been changed from 10pm to 9pm. Apart from the one hour prior airing the show time has also been increased from 60 minutes to 90 minutes. Heidi Klum said that the extra half hour will give more time to show the judges’ deliberation. She explained that elimination day is shot all day whereas it was shown in just 10 minutes in the earlier season. This time, it will be different, according to the former supermodel. Apart from the timings, there will also be a new twist in season 8 of ‘Project Runway’ as there will be 17 instead of 16 participants and one designer will be eliminated even before the rest move into the apartment together.

Heidi Klum revealed that this time they will also surprise the designers with new challenges that include a hat challenge as well. She said that the objective was not just to surprise the audiences who follow the show but also the designers. She added that ‘Project Runway‘ will be staying put in New York contrary to rumors that the show will shuttle between New York and Los Angeles.
