BEYONCE KNOWLES is challenging dance crews to perform a series of her hit songs in a U.S. TV competition for a $100,000 (£66,670) prize. The Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It) singer will appear in taped personal messages to dancers on a 16 August (09) episode of MTV’s [RANDY JACKSON'S AMERICA'S BEST DANCE CREW], revealing instructions for dance challenges as they fight for the winning spot.

BEYONCE KNOWLES will perform at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) next month (Sept09). The star, who has received nine VMA nominations, is set to play single SWEET DREAMS. She will join GREEN DAY, MUSE, PINK and JAY-Z who are also signed up to sing at the event on September 13 (09).
