LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The newly released ‘Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows’ Part 1 can be termed as the beginning of the end for the famous teen wizard film franchisee. The first part of the seventh film in the series sets the tone and ambiance for the dark and brooding last part. Lord Voldemort reaches the zenith of power in this film and with the Ministry of Magic getting into the hands of the Dark Lord Harry Potter aka Daniel Radcliffe finds himself in adverse situations, tougher than anything he has faced ever before. After the demise of Dumbledore Harry Potter and his friends can feel they are gradually running out of time to make the world free of the dark magic of Voldemort.
The friends of Harry Potter try to keep him safe but to their dismay they find that they cannot trust anyone now. They move away from the Hogwarts school and set out for Horcruxes to destroy the source of the power of Voldemort. The movie does look bleak and dark compared to the earlier movies in the series. At 150 minutes the ‘Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows’ Part 1 is rather long and at times the viewers may feel the plot is dragging on a bit.
‘Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows’ Part 1 was supposed to be concerted into 3D but that would have taken too long and so the producers dumped the idea. However, the iMax version too looks amazing and the opening of the film is captivating to say the least. The film has a overall quest look about it and there is hardly any place for humor.
