Kara DioGuardi To Judge “Golden Platinum”

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The charismatic American singer and songwriter Kara DioGuardi has nabbed the role of a head judge in new Bravo reality completion series “Going Platinum”. If the media outlets are to be believed, then the beautiful singer was previously all set to judge the popular “American Idol” show, however, later she has been replaced by Jennifer Lopez. The singer expressed her happiness and excitement in one of her interviews where she mentioned that she is bracing up for the best in the show.

Bravo officials have not commented anything about the matter yet. However, a source close to the series told a reputed media source that “Going Platinum” is going to be an interesting fight of singers and songwriters to be the next big name in the music industry. The media sources have also reported that singer Jewel will also appear as a host in the program and the show will have 12 musicians who will compete in songwriting challenges to win the top prize of $100,000, a recording contract with RCA/Jive records along with a Sony publishing deal. Kara DioGuardi told a reputed media source that she is happy to be a part of the show as it gives a platform to budding songwriters to chase their dreams.

Kara DioGuardi also said that “Golden Platinum” also aims to give the public a “look” at the creative process of song-making. The former “American Idol” judge in her statement said that hit songs serve as a “backbone” to the music industry and as a “publisher” she finds it exciting to find new songwriting talent. The host of the show, Jewel reportedly told a reportedly told a reputed media source that the new series will show case “passion” and determination to become a songwriter and in the end the show will find a “big star”.
