LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- “Glee” Britney Spears episode was aired on Fox channel on Se 28. A much awaited episode, it could not live up to the people’s expectation as much as it was anticipated. It was expected to be an over-rated extravaganza of Britney Spears‘ Music in the elongated presence of the singer herself, but the singer just made a not so satisfactory cameo. The story goes as Emma’s new boyfriend, Dr.Carl Howell, a dentist by profession, visits the “Glee” children to give them some dental treatment.

The “Glee” club decided to incorporate some Britney Spears music in their assembly performance. However, it was resented by Brittany, whose real name was Brittany. S. Pears, was given a new name sake after the singer much to her annoyance. On the other hand, Dr.Carl Howell, an anesthesia happy dentist, after giving some treatment to the rest of the children, was about to treat Brittany.S.Pears. The strings of Britney Spears numbers were aired, when Brittany, under the affect of Anesthesia, induced by the doctor, started hallucinating the songs, which was being played by Carl Howell for some refreshment. In the “Glee” Britney Spears Episode, Brittany, hallucinated herself in the place of the singers in all her hit numbers, sitting on a chair at the doctor’s office. The two songs on which she gave the most remarkable performance were “Toxic” and “Slave to you”. Her role and performance as the Dummy Britney Spears was really appreciable.

However, the disappointing part about “Glee” Britney Spears episode, was the small cameo of the pop star, by the end of Brittany’s hallucinated performance, when she gave Brittany.S.Pears a hug. People expected a longer and a better appearance of Britney Spears in a better dramatic context. The way her cameo was incorporated in the show was rather disappointing.
