LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- It seems that the “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” actor Russell Brand is having his tough days now. The ‘Despicable Me” actor has been arrested after he attacked a photographer at Los Angeles International Airport. The actor was arriving with his fiancee Katy Perry when the quarrel took place between the actor and the photographer.

A reputed media source reported that the “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” actor was walking through airport security with Katy Perry when a group of photographers blocked their way. The video footage posted on reputed celebrity web portal shows that Russell Brand pushing a group of photographers violently. The web portal reported that the photographer hold him back and restrained him until the police arrived to take control of the whole situation.

The police issued a statement where it was maintained that the police responded to a report of a “battery” which involved a “celebrity” and a commercial photographer. The statement also read that the alleged victim was prompted to make a “private” person’s arrest at the same time. “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” star was then taken to the custody and was booked for battery. Neither the star nor his representative has commented anything regarding the whole issue. The reports suggest that Russell Brand will be booked at the LAPD Pacific Division. This is not the first time that the star has been arrested; Russell Brand had been arrested 11 times before. He wrote a memoir “My Booky Wook: A Memoir of Sex, Drugs and Stand-Up”, where he recounted all his escapades, including his addiction to sex and drugs. Russell Brand hogged headlines recently after he was engaged to the “California Gurls” singer Katy Perry.
