LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- In what can best be described as sweet revenge, Katy Perry dedicated a song to her high school crush during a concert after she spotted him at the venue. Pop icon Katy Perry performed at the Dos Pueblos High School where attended her freshman year before leaving for her GED. According to sources present at the venue of the concert, the ‘California Gurls’ called at Shane Lopes in the crowd and started saying that he was the most popular kid in class but he never wanted to date her. She also named a woman named Amanda Wayne, who Shane Lopes chose over the pop icon.

The song that Katy Perry dedicated to Shane Lopes was called ‘You’re so Gay’ and the bitterness of the heartbreak that she felt during her high school years came out in a funny and melodious way. Before the song she also said that Shane Lopes chose right and asked him what his feeling were now. Though the insult made Shane Lopes one of the hottest searches on the web, he looked somewhat indifferent to it.

Shane Lopes explained that it was typical Katy Perry behavior and he was not perturbed by the fact that she dedicated the ‘You’re so Gay’ song to him. He said that it was a part of her goofy and funny sense of humor. He also added that he never felt in high school that she had a crush on him. Shane Lopes explained that the two were still friends and Katy Perry merely wanted a suitable entry into her next song.
