Hilary Duff To Tie The Knot With Fianc Mike Comrie

August 14, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): American actress and singer Hilary Duff of Lizzie McGuire fame is going to take wedding vows this weekend with her fiancé Mike Comrie, a Canadian professional ice hockey star. The couple announced about their engagement on February 19, 2010 following a trip to Hawaii. Comrie had proposed Hilary with a USD 1 million engagement ring after dating for two years.
Duff will tie the knot with Comrie at the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara. The late US President John F Kennedy had honeymoon with his wife Jackie at the same place in 1953. The place is famous for its Hollywood styled glamour and is promoted a perfect place for small wedding celebrations.
According to a source, the detail of the big day is not going to be spared.
The ranch website says that the romantic cottages or fragrant gardens of the ranch are customized for intimate events. They added that their 41 accommodations are usually reserved by many of their bridal couples for family and friends.
The 22-year old actress had been reportedly trying to be in good shape for the big day. The couple has taking dance lessons together.
Comrie also enjoyed a bachelor party with his seven friends at Los Angeles hot spot Trousdale. He drank vodka sitting in a VIP booth along with his friends thus celebrating last few days of freedom.
