Shahnaz to open cosmetics outlet at London’s Selfridges

LONDON - Shahnaz Husain, a pioneer in ayurvedic beauty care, is opening a sales outlet for her herbal cosmetics at London’s upmarket Selfridges store on Saturday.

The Shahnaz Husain Herbals will open sales at the Lloyds Pharmacy in Selfridges, a release said Monday.

The entire range her of herbal cosmetics will be available, along with personal consultations on beauty and skin care.

This is Husain’s second venture in Britain following the recent launch of her anti-ageing and skin rejuvenation programme, ‘Plant Stem Cell’, in London.

The Selfridges launch will be followed by Husain holding an interactive session on ‘Ayurveda and skin remedies’ at London’s Nehru Centre on August 9.

Her cosmetics have in the past sold at prestigious stores across the world, includng Galleries Lafayette in Paris, Bloomingdales in New York, La Rina Scente in Milan, Italy and in the Seibu chain in Japan.
