Joby John Wins Idea Star Singer

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- The fourth season of the Idea Star Singer, a reality singing television show broadcast in the state of Kerala has come to an end and the popular South Indian television show now has a winner. Joby John, a 27 year old man from Thiruvananthapuram has won the title of the best Idea Star Singer this season.

The last day performances were held at the Chandrashekaran Nair Stadium of the city. However the audience of the reality television show will not be able to watch the live performances on their television screens. The pre-recorded final episode of Idea Star Singer will go on air today in the Asia Net channel at 8 in the evening. Sharing space on the finals stage with winner Joby John are the four other finalists Anju Joseph, Sreentath, S Vidhya Shankar and Preethi Ravindran Warrier.

Idea Star Singer has always been one of the most popular television reality shows, grabbing many an eyeball ever since it went on air. The judges M.G.Sreekumar, Sarath, Usha Uthup and K.S.Chithra have not only added to the show’s popularity among the masses, but have effectively dug out fresh talent from the several contestants who take part in the show each season. The final episode of Idea Star Singer being a special episode, well known Keralite actress Bhama was the host for the evening. Joby John was adjudged the winner of Idea Star Singer after judges decided on the same after a live performance on stage and because he garnered the maximum audience votes. Sreenath landed the second spot and Preethi Ravindran Warrier was the second runner up on the show.
