Cameron Diaz secretive about Shrek

April 24, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): When it comes to her film Shrek, actress Cameron Diaz likes to keep the mystery surrounding her character Princess Fiona in the film. Diaz voices the character of Princess Fiona, the ginger haired green Ogress in the film series. The last and final installment of the film series will release in May.

Diaz said that when parents refer to her as Princess Fiona in front of their children, she doesn’t correct them and thinks that let the mystery and the fantasy live within the children and let them believe that Princess Fiona is actually real.

But there seems to be one kid who knows the truth and it’s Suri, daughter of celebrity couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes .Cameron Diaz, said that her ‘Knight and Day’ costar Tom Cruise has spilled the beans to his daughter about her character. Diaz said that it seems funny to her because Suri does know that she is Princess Fiona and that she thinks that Suri loves Shrek.

Apart from Diaz other stars who voice characters in the film are Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Julie Andrews and Antonio Banderas.
