Hilary Duff Engaged To Mike Comrie

San Francisco (GaeaTimes.Com) - Hilary Duff is no more little Lizzie McGuire. She is all grown up and is now engaged to her beau hockey star Mike Comrie. According to reports, Hilary has accepted her pro hockey player boyfriend’s proposal and they engaged this weekend while vacationing in Hawaii. She was spotted sporting a diamond on that special finger when they arrived at the tropical vacation spot. Mike Comrie now plays at Edmonton Oilers and is 29 years old while his woman is 22 years old.
They have been together for more than two years and Hilary Duff’s representative told that they are very excited to share this happy news.

Hilary Duff previously dated Joel Madden who is now engaged with Nicole Richie. Hilary tells about Comrie,
A great guy. I’ve never met anyone who could say a bad word about him. He’s generous, caring, funny. We just laugh our heads off, which I need in my life. … He’s unique. I wouldn’t want to be with someone who wasn’t unique.
She said that they have a very natural relationship though they sometimes stay at a long distances from each other.
We both have busy jobs and we’re both very focused people, so that helps.
Since we are apart so much, it’s not like one person is at home waiting for the other.
We have fun. We both live such different lives, but it’s always fun to support each other and spend time when we get to.
We do not yet have any information regarding the wedding date but we’ll be informing that as soon as we get them.
