Courtney Love begs daughter to avoid teen pregnancy

LONDON - Hours after a judge banned her from having any contact with her daughter, Courtney Love took to the Internet to reach out to the teenager to request her not to be like Britney Spears’ sister, who at 18 is an unmarried mother.
Contactmusic.com reports that 17-year-old Frances Bean Cobain was placed under the temporary guardianship of her late father Kurt Cobain’s mother, Wendy O’Connor, and his sister, Kimberly Dawn Cobain, on Friday (Dec 11) leaving Love furious.
She wrote a series of angry posts on social networking website Facebook earlier this week, attacking her daughter for choosing to live with her in-laws.
A judge issued a temporary restraining order Wednesday (Dec 16), barring her from having any direct or indirect contact with her daughter.
So Love used her Facebook to address Frances again, begging her to work hard and not to follow in the footsteps of Britney Spears’ sister Jamie Lynn.
“There’s not a whole lot I can do about it (guardianship). This is like a hand grenade got thrown into our lives and it’s not Frances! I am angry at these people, not Frances (sic).
“I’d just prefer she not become (sic) Jaimie L Spears, she should go be a writer or an artist which I support 100 percent but this is a circus and it pains me because I know she hates it,” she wrote.
A hearing to make the restraining order permanent is set for Jan 5 next year.
