7 best reality Emmys in a row for ‘Amazing Race’

NEW YORK — “The Amazing Race” extends its winning streak to an amazing seven years as it scores another Emmy in the outstanding reality competition category.

The CBS globe-trotting contest beat out rivals Sunday night including Fox’s “American Idol,” ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars,” as well as “Project Runway” and “Top Chef,” both on Bravo.

The show, which premiered in September 2001 and is about to begin its 15th cycle, is hosted by Phil Keoghan.
