2000 - Ms Manini Chatterjee has been awarded the Rabindra Puraskar for 2000 for her book Do or Die : The Chittagong Uprising (1930-34). The award, instituted by the Bengal government, will be conferred on Ms Chatterjee in Calcutta on May 8, the birth anniversary of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore.
