Rituparna Sengupta offers prayers at Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer

AJMER - Bollywood actress Rituparna Sengupta visited the shrine of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishti here on Monday to pray for the success of her upcoming movies that are slated for release this year.
Rituparna, a leading Tollywood (Bengali cinema) actress, has also often been part of the offbeat Hindi Cinema.
Her recent venture in the Hindi movies includes a comedy film, ‘Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji’ that is slated for a release by end of this month.
Interacting with mediapersons, Rituparna said the motto of her visit was to seek blessings for all her film ventures, both Hindi and Bengali, this year.
“I am very happy that I could come here and pray. I wish that I visit here again to pray and perform well (in movies) and also do my bit for the welfare of the society,” said Rituparna.
She further said almost a dozen movies of her are lined up for a release this year.
“In Hindi (cinema) there are many upcoming movies that I have this year including ‘Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji’, ‘Bas Ek Tammana’, ‘SRK’, ‘BBD’ and ‘Dard-e-Disco’ among others. I have many Bengali movies that are hitting the screen, after that ‘Jio Kaka’ and after that ‘The Necklace’,” said Riruparna.
Apart from flowers, the actress performed other religious offerings at the shrine. (ANI)
