These lucky contestants were, Abhilasha Venkata Chellum, Ranjeet Rajwada, Kamal Khan, Bishakh Jyoti, Sugandha Mishra and Ali Sher. “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa” and many other shows on the Indian television, has witnessed the distribution of gold coins as it is regarded as an auspicious sign in the Indian culture. However, this for the first time that the history of Indian television witnessed the distribution of gold chains, as a token of appreciation in a talent hunt show. Whatever the matter is, the contestants of “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstars” are definitely getting luckier by the day, as the last week, Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan gave away one lakh each to every competent contestant.

Delighted Baishak Jyoti, who is one of the lucky budding singing sensation of the show said that Bappi Lahiri’s compositions are a class apart and he would cherish this token forever, as it was given to him by none other than the great music composer for his performance on “Pug Ghungroo”. Now the rest of the Indians know that Bappi Lahiri is not only a great music composer, but also a generous human being (considering the skylarking price of gold).
