Zsa Zsa Gabor Rushed To Hospital Due To Blood Clots

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Yesteryear’s American actress and socialite Zsa Zsa Gabor was rushed to hospital on Friday morning after developing a ‘massive’ blot clot. The 93 year old has been in an out of the news recently for her health problems. Doctors were called in at her Beverly Hills home after she complained of severe pain and swelling in her legs. The star is being treated at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. The physician who examined her called the emergency helpline number after he felt that the clot might push its way up to Zsa Zsa Gabor’s heart. Her husband spoke to the media and said that the actress had developed a bad infection in her right leg and there was no blood flowing in her left leg as well

Zsa Zsa Gabor was also hospitalized in July following a fall that resulted in a broken hip. At that time she came out of the ordeal after a successful hip replacement surgery. Since the surgery, however, Zsa Zsa Gabor has been in an out of the hospital. The actress declined any further treatment after her hospital trip in mid-August and reports indicate that her last rites were performed as well.

Zsa Zsa Gabor is the only surviving sibling of the Gabor sisters. She reached her peak in the entertainment industry in the 1950s.In recent years, the actress has appeared in cameos and special appearances in several movies that includes ‘The Naked Gun 2: The Smell of Fear’ where she appeared as herself. She was in the news in 1989 after she slapped a police officer who had pulled her over. At that time she spent three days in jail for the fiasco.
