Dustin Hoffman is Shia LaBeoufs idol

October 1, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Jesse Eisenberg, who essays the role of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in the film “The Social Network,” can be called the next Dustin Hoffman. He has showcased his flawless, edgy acting skills to have impressed the critics and the audiences alike. This is quite a lot of honor for this young actor, since it’s not every day that one gets to be compared with a genius actor like Dustin Hoffman.
As much as he is elated by this honor, Shia LaBeouf, 24, wants to be on the similar level with this Hollywood legend. He wants to be on the same level of Hoffman’s resume and relentless acting skills.
This “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” actor says that he is not at the level where he wants to be, at present and he also adds that he would never go to the acting-stage, since he has done that before. He also thinks that this is where an actor dies.
He says that an accomplished and veteran actor like Hoffman is still on a striving level, and is still pushing and fighting. Shia LaBeouf, who has acted in movies like Transformers, Eagle Eye and New York, I Love You, says that his goals that are touchable, however at the same time they are way far. He says that he has created these goals, in such a way that they are distant and thus are challenging.
It has also been mentioned that the actor LaBeouf and his girlfriend Carey Mulligan,wants to tie the knot and have kids in the future. Incidentally, she is Shia’s co-actor in the film, “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps”.
