DHANBAD (GaeaTimes.com)-Delhi Public School (DPS) has found itself in the middle of another scandal as the latest reports suggest that 9 students that include 3 girls and 6 boys have been expelled for moral turpitude. Among the 9, 7 of the students were found in the toilet in an ‘objectionable’ position while two others were found to be roaming around at the Maithon Dam during school hours with their boyfriends. The students of DPS, Dhanbad are between classes X and XII.

Reports suggest that a class VI student found 7 students in the school toilet in an ‘objectionable position’. The 7 students included one girl and 6 boys. The class VI student reported the incident to the principal who sent a lady teacher to verify. Once the lady teacher confirmed the facts, the school took strict disciplinary action against the students. The parents of the alleged students have, however, refuted the charges and said that they went to the toilet to ‘tuck’ their shirts. According the teacher’s and the class VI student’s statements, the 7 of the DPS, Dhanbad students were almost without clothes and in an ‘objectionable position’.

The other two girls who were expelled alongside the 7, were reported to be roaming around the popular picnic spot, Maithon Dam with their boyfriends. The DPS, Dhanbad’s school management’s decision to take strict ‘disciplinary action’ has been strongly criticized by the parents who maintain that their children are innocent. DPS was also in the news a few years back due to an MMS scandal that even led to an arrest.
