Martin Short’s Wife Nancy Dolman Passed Away

CALIFORNIA (GaeaTimes.com) — 30 years of married life suddenly came to end, as actor Martin Short lost her soul mate. Nancy Dolman, wife of Martin Short passed away at their home in Pacific Palisades, California at 8:30 am on Saturday.

Dolman was straggling with cancer since 2007, but whether cancer was the reason behind her death is still not clear.

According to reports, Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to an emergency call at Martin’s house on Saturday morning. But it is assumed that the yesteryear actress had died by that time.

Dolman and Short started dating in 1974 and continued seeing each other for six years before tying the knot in 1980. In their thirty years of happy conjugal life, the couple was blessed with three children– Katherine, Elizabeth, and Oliver.

Nancy Dolman was a famous actress on a soap opera. She worked with Short in a 1972 production of Godspell. Dolman worked as a successful actress for couple of years and then retired in 1985 to take a good care of her family.

On the other hand, Martin Short is an eminent actor of ‘Saturday Night Live’. His character in the ‘Father of the Bride’ earned him the nomination for an Emmy as Best Supporting Actor.
