Jay Mariotti Jailed for beating up Girlfriend: Pays $50,000 Bail

NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com) — Jay Mariotti, the famed ESPN commentator and sports writer had been arrested following an alleged heated argument with his girlfriend.

Guess what, Jay was released from jail with a bail of $50,000. It all started off at a club in Santa Monica after Jay suspected his girlfriend was flirting around with someone. Reportedly, after the duo left the club, the clash continued at their Venice-area apartment.

Mariotti is popular for the ESPN show “Around the Horn” and regularly writes for the AOL Website Fanhouse.com

According to The Los Angeles Times, Mariotti reportedly pushed, shoved, and grabbed his girlfriend leaving marks on her arms. The police came only to find the girl in a panicked state and all messed up with cuts and bruises.

Well, friends this is the destiny of a bad relationship combined with a bad temper. Hey, Jay, why not take a chill-pill man, these things do happen, don’t worry every things gonna be just fine. You just need to wait and watch.
