LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Country star Leann Rimes sizzled the ‘America’s Got Talent’ stage in a sporty bikini yesterday. The singer was seen bouncing around the stage with dancers dressed in beach wear singing the cover of the John Anderson’s ‘Swingin’ from her upcoming album ‘Lady And Gentlemen’. With an album due in October, the ‘America’s Got Talent’ stage provided the perfect platform for the country star to promote her new album. The singer has also been in the news over the last two days for the ongoing war of words between her and the fans on Twitter.

The controversy began when a fan criticized the singer for calling Eddie Cibrian’s two sons ‘boys’. Leann Rimes was quick to retort saying that she is not trying to be a mother to the boys but reminded the fan that she is a part of their lives too. The fan, however, did not stop here and went on to add that Leann Rimes should share less of her personal life and try to make a comeback through her music. The fan also made her stance obvious when she tweeted that Leann Rimes should stop trying to force acceptance of her actions. There was also a hint at the cheating rumors about Eddie Cibrian which made the singer reply with a clarification that the ‘boys’ are safe and happy and insisted that the situation is over and people need to move on and find their own happiness. Leann Rimes also explained that the fan is not aware of the situation at all and said that she has apologized for the hurt before.

Leann Rimes presently lives with ‘Northern Lights’ co-star Eddie Cibrian and his two children from his previous marriage to model Brandi Glanville. The messy divorce resulted in a great deal of bad press for both the stars.
