Michael Douglas’ Tumor Affects His Plan

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Veteran Hollywood actor Michael Douglas made headlines when the news of his throat tumor was leaked onto the web. The star who is 65 now however is not depressed after learning about the cancerous growth in his throat and he is looking forward to the treatments. The actor whose upcoming movie named ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps’ is being readied for release later this year is however a tad worried about its success. He got huge amounts of critical acclaim after essaying the role of Gordon Gekko in the first Wall Street film made decades back. The latest news is that the stalwart actor has postponed the plan to address a group of financial professionals which will take place on Sept. 15 at the CLSA Investors Forum in Hong Kong.
The firm admitted the news and said that despite the best wishes of the actor the throat tumor treatment will not allow him to come and give the speech at the venue. Michael Douglas will have to undergo several session of chemotherapy and radiation treatment to destroy the tumor cells. A CLSA spokeswoman named Simone Wheeler conformed through e mail that the actor will not attend the event to give the speech as planned earlier. She added that the firm has wished the actor a speedy recovery.
It is not known if the throat tumor of noted actor Michael Douglas will result in any delay in the release of his upcoming movie which is a sequel to the first Wall Street movie. His fans are worried after knowing the news ad they wish he gets well soon.
