Michael Douglas On New Film

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Michael Douglas the noted Hollywood actor who has given some of the memorable hits and critically acclaimed films in his long career is hogging the media glare once again. The Veteran actor is all set to scorch the silver screen in near future with his upcoming movie ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps’. The movie which has generated adequate pre release buzz in the industry is a sequel to the first Wall Street movie which got the actor dollops of critical acclaim with a number of coveted awards way back in the 1990s. The actor however is not sure whether the sequel can hot the bull’s eye at the box office like its predecessor. In an interview the veteran actor, who is the present husband of popular actor Catherine Zeta-Jones said that the current global economic situation may act as a deterrent for the success of the upcoming movie.

Michael Douglas also said in the interview why he did not act to the sequel to the 1990s hit ‘Basic Instinct’ while Sharon Stone gave her nod. He said he was not too comfortable with the idea of reprising the steamy role at this age. While actor Michael Douglas is skeptical about the prospect of his movie ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps’, the director of the movie does not see eye to eye with him in this regard.

Oliver stone who has directed the movie is sure that like the first movie, the sequel will also draw the fans of the actors on the theaters after its release. He is also upbeat about the performance of Shia Labeouf in the movie.
