“So You Think You Can Dance” Winner Announced

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The much anticipated “So You Think You Can Dance” finale episode was aired last night where the American audience was introduced to the winner. Last night after a slew of wonderful performances and lots of thrills, finally the winner was announced and it was none other than the beautiful Lauren Froderman. The winner, Lauren Froderman, was happy and excited, with laughter and tear all coming at once said that there were lot of things she wanted to say, but she couldn’t, she only said “a giant thank you” when she received her $250,000 grand prize.
“So You Think You Can Dance” winner Lauren Froderman, 18, is a recent high school winner from Phoenix and she won the title of “America’s Favorite Dancer”. The winner surpassed Kent Boyd and Robert Rolden in excellence as the American audience voted for her to make her the winner of this season. It was an emotional moment for Lauren Froderman when her name was announced and the winner who had been waiting for this moment said that she had been working her whole life for something like that. The contemporary jazz dancer who even excelled in picking up other’s style like hip-hop, ballroom and Bollywood routine was always one of the favorites of the judges panel.
“So You Think You Can Dance“ finale also saw the performances from the other eliminated contestants. Even one of the most entertaining performances was from dance troop Quest Crew. The duet between Stephen “tWitch” Boss and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres was also commendable. Cat Deeley, the host of the show announced that the winner of “So You Think You Can Dance“, Lauren Froderman will grace the cover of “Dance Spirit” magazine and will endorse “Gatorade” print campaign with some of the world’s best athletes.
