Los Angeles- The Wonder Girls, set the stage of “So You Think You Can Dance” on fire with their wonderful performance, on Wednesday night.

The Wonder Girls are a South Korean pop group, comprising of five young and vibrant girls.

Yubin , 21 who joined the band in late-2007, is the oldest. Sunye (Sun), 20 is the leader. Sunmi (Mimi) and Hyunah, both at 17, are the youngest members. Ye-eun (Yenny), 20 is the group’s newest member.

The band’s performance on last night’s show gave them their first exposure before a major U.S. audience.

The Wonder Girls first became popular in 2007 with a hit song called “Tell Me”. In 2008 they turned up with several more hits, including “So Hot” and “Nobody”.

In 2009, this new pop sensation caught the attention of both young and old fans with their song “Nobody”.

The pop band is currently busy with their debut English album, which is scheduled to release in February 2010. The Wonder Girls will be going on tour in January 2010.

So You Think You Can Dance” is one of the most popular television shows, in the U.S. Contestants chosen through auditions are from different backgrounds ranging from street to professional dancers. The final 20 dancers are trained with different dance styles and have to perform with their partners.

The dance show got a boost from its guest performers, The Wonder Girls, yesterday. Their easy-to-follow dance moves and lyrics, entertained the audience most.

hey, you made a mistake in your article, the member of the wondergirls are: sunye,yeeun,yubin,sunmi AND SOHEE, Hyuna left the group in the early days due to health issues.
